Removing
– Separate electrical plug connection -1-.
Note
Place a cloth below to absorb leaking fuel.
– Undo the fuel pressure sender - G247- -2- with the Polydrive
socket width across flats 27 - T40218- .
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing,
observe the following:

The thread of the fuel pressure sender must not be moistened.

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Adapter for measuring method/DSO (3-pin) , e.g. -VAS 5570-
♦ Testing device for pressure sensor e. g. -VAS 6394-
♦ Socket, 27 mm long, commercially available
Work procedure
WARNING
Risk of injury caused by fuel which is under high pressure.
♦ Before opening the high-pressure system, the fuel pres‐
sure must be reduced to residual pressure
