– Secure the assembly device - T10134- onto the crankshaft
flange -2-. Screw in Allan screws -E- into the crankshaft flange
by approx. five thread turns.
– Insert 2 screws M6x35 Pos. -2- into the cylinder block for the
sealing flange guide -1-.
C - Bolt assembly tool - T10134- onto the crankshaft flange:
– Push the assembly cup -C- by hand in the
-direction of the arrow- until the sealing lip supporting ring -1-
rests on the crankshaft flange -2-.
– Push guide pin for petrol engines (red knob) -F- into hole in
crankshaft. This ensures that the sender wheel reaches its fi‐
nal installation position.
Note
The guide pin for diesel engines must not be inserted in threaded
hole of crankshaft.
– Tighten both hexagon socket head bolts of the assembly de‐
vice hand-tight.
– Screw nut -B- onto threaded spindle by hand until it lies against
assembly housing -C-.
D - Press sender wheel onto crankshaft flange using assembly
device - T10134- :
– Tighten nuts -B- on the assembly device - T10134- to 35 Nm.
• After hexagon nut is tightened to 35 Nm, a small air gap must
still be present between cylinder block and sealing flange -1-.
