Navigate to your working directory and install the according GSDML file.
ð After the installation the hardware catalog is refreshed and the Siemens TIA
Portal is closed.
After restarting the Siemens TIA Portal following virtual devices can be found in
the hardware catalog at 'PROFINET IO è Other field devices è ...
è VIPA SLIO System':
PN I-Device for VIPA CPU

This allows you to configure the Input/output areas in the I-Device of the
VIPA CPU.

PN I-Device for higher-level CPU

This allows you to connect the VIPA I-Device to the higher-level IO con-
troller.
Thus, the VIPA components can be displayed, you have to deactivate the
"Filter" of the hardware catalog.
It is assumed that a hardware configuration of the CPU exists.

Place for the Ethernet PG/OP channel at slot 4 the Siemens CP 343-1 (SIMATIC
300 \ CP 300 \ Industrial Ethernet \CP 343-1 \ 6GK7 343-1EX30 0XE0 V3.0).

In the Network view click on the CP 343-1 and enter a name under 'Properties
è PROFINET interface... è General'.
Write down the Name. This name must also be specified as the
'device name' of the I-Device for the higher-level IO controller!
