Functional Description

Refer to Figure 7-2

TSG-3800. Each pair consists of A and B signals, coming from Frame Generator A
and Frame Generator B, respectively. The A and B inputs are identical signals
providing redundant input signals to the AMI 20-Output module.

Off = Module is not receiving power.
On = No reference signal at input A, or failure of
module input buffers.
Off = Reference signal at input A.
On = No reference signal at input B, or failure of
module input buffers.
Off = Reference signal at input B.
On = Output failure (one or more).
