Timing Insertion Module
The user can modify operations of this module by setting jumpers. The jumpers are
labeled TB101 through TB107, and TB202 and TB203. The possible configurations
are listed in Table 7-54

Setting the Bypass/Buffer Switch
The TIM has one switch, the BYPASS/BUFFER, on the front panel to manually
control the function of the module. In the activated mode (UP), the TIM function is
bypassed and the DS1 data stream is not re-timed.
