Troubleshooting the T1 Input Module

The T1 Input module (23478303-002-0) has four LED indicators.
the normal and fault indications and provides troubleshooting information.

Corrective Action
1. Check Power indicator on other
modules. If they are lit, then
replace this module.
2. If power is not available to shelf,
check rear panel fuses and
power source.
3. Replace fuses as necessary.
The TSG requires only one input
port as a reference. Only one REF
indicator should be lit on all installed
Input modules.
Replace defective module with a
known good spare with the same
configured options.
Caution: To allow the CPU module
to auto-configure the Input module,
do not disable the Input module
before removing it.
1. Use test equipment to test the
integrity of the input signal.
2. Use the Alarm command to
determine the alarm type.
3. Troubleshoot the alarm
according to the alarm type.
This is not an Input module
hardware fault. To avoid data loss,
do not re-boot or restart the CPU
module.
