12 The belt gauge should read approximately 85 ±5 lbs. If the belt
tension is significantly high or low the belt tension may be
adjusted by loosening the generator mounting bolts.
13 Loosen or tighten the 1/4-20 X 3 generator adjustment nut and bolt
until the belt gauge reads approximately 90 lbs.
14 Tighten the two 5/16-18 X 3 generator mounting bolts.
15 Select the QUICKSTART program
resistance level 10 is displayed. Pedal the AMT for approximately
one minute, then recheck the belt tension.
16 The tension should read approximately 85 ±5 lbs.
