2.8.4 CONTRAST APERTURE

The contrast aperture is located after fold mirror 1 in the light path.
(15 minutes)
1. Remove top lid. Refer to
10.
2. Disconnect the harness from the light sensor
module (Figure 2-60).
3. Use a #2 Phillips™ to remove the 3 screws
securing the contrast aperture to the IOS (Figure
2-59).
4. Slide the aperture out along the slotted tracks
inside the IOS.
5. Reverse the above steps to install the contrast
aperture.

2.8.5 LIGHT SENSOR MODULE

The light sensor module, mounted to the side of the
IOS, is orientated to sample the light coming through
the fold mirror.
(30 minutes; includes 10 minute calibration)
1. Remove top lid. Refer to
10.
2. Disconnect the harness from the light sensor
(Figure 2-60).
3. Use a 2mm Allen™ key to remove the 2 hex
screws securing the sensor to the IOS (Figure 2-
60). NOTE: The middle screw is used to adjust
light tolerances.
4. Reverse the above steps to install.
5. Power up the projector and recalibrate the
footLambert (fL) readings for minimum and maximum power. For details, refer to the CP2000-M/
MR User's Manual (020-100123-xx).
