FRONT ENGINE COMPARTMENT

2.8.1 PRIMARY LENS MOUNT

(1 hour & 30 minutes; includes 10 minutes for boresight alignment)
1. Remove top lid. Refer to
2. Remove the exhaust panel skin. Refer to
3. Remove the front skin. Refer to
4. Remove the 15 screws securing the lens boot.
5. Remove the 6 screws securing the high security cover, unlock the high security access lock, lift the
lid and slide out.
6. Remove the intact duct. Refer to
7. Use a #1 Phillips™ to remove the 6 screws from the cardcage faceplate.
8. Pull the cardcage out a few centimeters in order to reach behind and unplug the lens mount motor
harness from the Motherboard and out of the P-clip.
9. Use a #2 Phillips™ to remove the 4 screws (5mm hex) securing the lens mount to the IOS
(Figure 2-52).
10. Remove the lens mount.
11. Reverse the above steps to reinstall the lens mount.
12. Perform boresight alignment. Refer to the CP2000-M/MR User Manual (#020-100123-xx) for
details.
