4.8.4 Remove the UV Filter (35-by-2 mm)

(4 minutes)
1. Remove the lamp module. See
2. Remove (2) #1 Phillips® screws, which secure the UV filter to the lamp
module.
3. Wear the supplied gloves and remove the UV filter.

4.8.5 Remove the Fold Mirror

(30 minutes)
1. Remove the lens mount assembly. See
2. Remove the light engine louver. See
3. Remove the LiteLOC™. See
4. Remove (3) 3 mm hex screws, which secure the fold mirror bracket to
the light tube, as shown in red. Remove the fold mirror assembly.
5. Remove (4) #1 Phillips® screws from the small metal clips, which
secure the fold mirror in position, as shown in yellow. Remove the fold
mirror.

4.8.6 Remove the Contrast Aperture Assembly

(9 minute)
1. Remove the top cover. See
2. Remove (1) #1 Phillips® screw, which secure the aperture cover.
3. Disconnect the IRIS harness from the panel driver.
4. Remove (2) #1 Phillips® countersunk screws, which secure the motor bracket to the light tube.
5. Manually rotate the motor gear as shown, to close the aperture enough to be removed.
6. Remove the contrast aperture assembly.
