2.5.6 REAR LAMP DOOR

UV HAZARD: Wear authorized protective clothing whenever the lamp door is
opened.
Located on the inside of the rear door is a duct for transporting air from the blower to the lamp
compartment and a 5mm Allen® key to tighten/loosen the lamp cathode clamp. Mounted on the
outside of the door is the CDP. NOTE: Use caution when opening the rear lamp door - the 180°
opening radius of the door could damage the CDP.
(20 minutes)
1. Remove the CDP from the rear door mount. Refer to
2-12.
2. Unlock the rear door using the low security key.
3. Remove the e-clip from the right-side hinge of the rear door (Figure 2-5, B).
4. Slide the pivot rod out from the left-side (Figure 2-5, A).
5. Reverse the above steps to reinstall. NOTE: When replacing the rear door ensure the airflow duct,
Allen key holder and CDP are removed and installed onto the replacement door.
