8. If present remove all harness clips securing the harnesses to the top of the cardcage.
9. Disconnect all harnesses from the cardcage. NOTE: Ensure the fire alarm connector on the User
I/O faceplate is disconnected.

11. Use a #1 Phillips™ screwdriver to remove the 6 hex screws from the front cardcage plate
(Figure 2-41).
12. Pull the cardcage out a few centimeters in order to access the harnesses in the back.
13. Disconnect the M-MALM harness from the SDB. NOTE: DO NOT disconnect the SCCI, CDP
harness, RS232 and GPIO from the SDB.
14. Ensure all connectors are disconnected from the Motherboard.
15. Completely remove the cardcage.
16. Use a #2 Phillips™ screwdriver to remove the 2 screws securing the LVPS retaining bracket
(Figure 2-39). To remove pull the right-side of the plate forward and tilt.

17. Untangle the harnesses before pulling the LVPS out. When removing tilt the LVPS up slightly to
clear the tabs underneath.
18. Reverse the above steps to reinstall the LVPS.
NOTE: Feed the AC harness through the
grommeted hole in the housing (Figure 2-40).
