2.7.10 LVPS RAIL ADJUSTMENT

The following procedure must be performed when the LVPS is replaced or when voltage rail alerts are
generated and displayed on the CDP or web ui.

RAIL ADJUSTMENT VIA CDP (PREFERRED METHOD)

(30 minutes)
1. Ensure the projector is in FULL POWER mode, not in STANDBY mode. Ensure the lamp is
powered down and cool before continuing.
EXPLOSION HAZARD: Wear authorized protective clothing whenever the lamp
door is opened.
2. Unlock the rear lamp door using the low
security key.
3. Remove the top lid. Refer to
page
2-10.
4. Use a #2 Phillips™ screwdriver to loosen the
3 thumbscrews on the safety shield (Figure 2-
47).
5. From the CDP access the Configura-
tion>Administrator>Adj LVPS Rail menu.
Select either 3.3V Rail or 5V Rail depending
on which rail is being adjusted.
6. Insert a long flathead tweaker through the
designated cutout in the LampLOC™ mount
into the 3.3V or 5V adjustment dial (Figure
2-48). As the tweaker is rotated observe the CDP to see the adjustment value of the rail. Continue
to turn the dial until the specified range is achieved.
Rail Adjustment Ranges
• 3.3V Rail Adjustment: 3.366 ± 0.003
• 5V Rail Adjustment: 5.110 ± 0.003
