2.8.12 COOLING HEAT SINKS AND HOSES

Liquid coolant is routed through the system using Tygon tubing and 3 heat sinks. There is a dedicated
heat sink for each of the 3 DMDs. The coolant runs through the heat sinks where heat is drawn from
the DMDs to maintain the optimum operating temperature. In order to swap the hoses and heat sinks
out the light engine must first be removed.

2. Disconnect the hoses from the quick disconnects on the liquid cooling assembly (Figure 2-69).
3. Remove the 6 screws securing the high security cover, unlock the high security access lock, lift the
lid and slide out.

5. Remove the 2 hex screws (3mm) and the bracket from each DMD (Figure 2-70).
6. Reverse the above steps to install the cooling heat sinks and hoses. Check convergence and adjust
if necessary. For details, refer to the CP2000-M/MR User Manual (020-100123-xx).
