INTAKE - FANS 7, 8, 10 AND 11
Use caution when working in and around fan assemblies. Fingers can get caught in fan
blades.
The 4 intake fans, attached to the cardcage compartment of the CP2000-M/MR, are used to draw
filtered air into the cardcage compartment and the light engine.
(20 minutes for 1 fan - 3 minutes for each additional fan)
1. Remove top lid. Refer to
2-10.
2. Remove air filter cover. Refer to
Cover, on page
3. Disconnect the 4 fan power harnesses (Figure 2-
50). For details, refer to the Interconnect
Drawing.
4. Use a #2 Phillips™ to remove the 4 screws
securing the fan bracket to the projector (Figure
2-51).
5. Lift the bracket with the attached fans up and out
from the front of the projector.
6. Holding the fan from the bottom pull up on the
top to unmount the fan from the rubber isolators.
7. Reverse the above steps to reinstall.
NOTE: Use needle nose pliers to pull the rubber
isolators through the fan mounting holes.
