8. Use a #2 Phillips™ to remove the 18 screws securing the Motherboard to the cardcage.
9. Slide the Motherboard out of the cardcage.
10. Reverse the above steps to reinstall. NOTE: When reconnecting the harnesses reference the label
on the security cover.

2.7.7 STEPPER DRIVER BOARD (SDB)

The SDB is located behind the cardcage. All lamp adjuster harnesses are routed to the board through a
small opening on the side of the cardcage. To access the bottom 2 harnesses the cardcage must be
pulled out slightly.

1. Remove top lid. Refer to
2. Remove the 6 screws securing the high security cover, unlock the high security access lock, lift the
lid and slide out.
3. Unclip the harness clips securing the harnesses to the top of the cardcage.
4. Pull the cardcage out a few centimeters.
5. Disconnect the 6 harnesses from the SDB.
6. Use a #2 Phillips™ to remove the 4 screws securing the SDB to the firewall (Figure 2-36).
7. Pull the SDB straight up and out of the projector.
8. Reverse the above steps to install. NOTE: When reconnecting the harnesses to the SDB refer to
the label on the high security cover.
