Modul Parameters

Figure 67: "Module Parameters" tab (example)

The following table explains the parameters listed in the register:

Table 61: Description of the Parameters

Module Parameters
Bus Mode
Wait for Profibus Slaves
Redundancy
Correct sequence of the redundancy function
For the redundancy function to run correctly, activate the "Load boot project
automatically" module parameter.
Asynchronous (default):
In this mode, the fieldbus process image is replaced within a fixed
time frame independent of the PLC task cycle time selected.
Synchronous:
In this mode, the fieldbus process image is replaced synchronously at
the selected PLC task cycle time.
The delay time of the I/O-IPC is set here, which specifies how long
the start of the PLC application is delayed until configured slaves
actively participate in bus communication.
If redundancy is activated, the control function can be transferred to
the passive master in the case of an error or service. The prerequisite
is that your PROFIBUS network is designed for redundancy.
No redundancy operation
OFF:
The redundancy function is enabled. Specification of the
ON:
active and passive master is automatically set when the I/O-IPC starts.
The I/O-IPC that first receives the bus access is configured as the
active master.
