6.3.1 Module Parameters

Connection 1 "Exclusive Owner" and connection 4 "Input Only" require the following pa-
rameters and settings. The scanner transfers these parameters to the product when the
connection is established.

0 Set all digital outputs to low level in the
event of error
Set digital outputs to a pre-defined substi-
tute value in the event of error.
If this setting is used, the value of the "DO
substitute value" parameter determines the
substitute value.
Hold digital outputs at their last value in the
event of error
0 Substitute value for the digital outputs if the
"Use substitute values" setting is used. The
input depends on the "DIO process data
layout" parameter.
Use a binary-to-decimal converter to calcu-
late this value.
0 The "Forcing" operating mode may be
used.
The "Forcing" operating mode must not be
used.
