Unscrew the capillary PEEK coupler, and remove the fused-silica
capillary from the union.
10. Where appropriate, remove the protective PEEK sleeve from the fused
silica capillary for reuse.
11. Dispose of the fused silica capillary and TaperTip, observing local
environmental regulations.
12. Remove any shards of glass or other contaminants from the union as
follows:
a.
Using the wash bottle containing 1:1 methanol/water, rinse the
union over the large beaker.
b.
Blow-dry the union with inert, oil-free gas.
