To make the electrical connections for the oil-free roughing pump
1.
Connect the roughing pump power cord to the main power source.
2.
Connect the relay cable from the roughing pump's dc connector to the
pump connector on the mass spectrometer's rear panel.

Connecting to the nitrogen gas supply

6-mm (¼-in) PTFE tubing (included in the SYNAPT G2 Installation Kit)
