To remove the existing capillary
1.
Prepare the instrument for working on the source (see

Pull the source enclosure release (located at the bottom, right-hand side)
outwards, and swing open the enclosure.
4.
Wait 10 minutes for the source ion block to cool.
5.
Disconnect the "finger tight" nut on the inside of the source enclosure.
