ALTERNATOR

LEFT CRANKCASE COVER

REMOVAL
Remove the left side cover (page 2-3).
Disconnect the alternator 2P (White) connector and ignition
pulse generator connector.
Remove the neutral switch wire from the left crankcase
grooves.
Remove the choke cable stay bolts (2 nos) and choke
cable stay.
Remove the left crankcase rear cover (page 6-3).

Loosen the left crankcase cover bolts in a crisscross pattern
is magnetically

Remove the dowel pins (2 nos.) and gasket.
