WHEEL RIM

Check the wheel rim runout by placing the wheel in a
turning stand.
Turn the wheel by hand and read the runout using a dial
indicator.
Actual runout is 1/2 the total indicator reading.
SERVICE LIMITS:
Axial: 0.3 mm (0.01 in)
Radial: 0.3 mm (0.01 in)

BRAKE DISC

Check the wheel rim runout by placing the wheel in a
turning stand.
Spin then wheel by hand, and read the runout using a dial
indicator.
SERVICE LIMITS:
Runout: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
WHEEL BALANCE
Carefully check balance before installing the wheel.
The wheel balance must be checked when the tire is
remounted.
For optimum balance the tire balance mark (light mass
point: a paint dot on the side wall) must be located next to
the valve stem. Remount the tire if necessary.
Note the rear direction marks on the tire, and upon tire
installation, always fit the tire so the marks face the same
direction.
DISASSEMBLY
