CYLINDER HEAD/VALVES
Remove the cam sprocket mounting bolts (2 nos.).
BOLTS
Remove the cam sprocket off the camshaft flange.
Be careful not to
let the sprocket
CAM CHAIN
Remove the sprocket from the cam chain.
bolts fall into the
crankcase.
CAMSHAFT FLANGE SPROCKET
Hold the cam chain with a piece of wire to prevent it from
falling into the crankcase.
Remove the camshaft retainer bolt (1 no.).
RETAINER BOLT
NOTE:
CAMSHAFT
Do not hammer the cam shaft out as it can damage the
camshaft.
Remove the camshaft.
