Rear Master Cylinder (Cbs) - Honda CB HORNET 160R 2015 Shop Manual

BRAKE SYSTEM
Check the wheel bearings for excessive play, if the warpage
exceeds the service limit.
Replace the brake disc if the wheel bearings are normal.
REAR MASTER CYLINDER (CBS ONLY)
JOINT HOSE

REMOVAL
Support the motorcycle on its center stand.
Drain the brake fluid from the hydraulic system (page 14-3).
Remove the brake hose oil bolt and joint hose from rear
master cylinder.
MOUNTING BOLTS
Remove the split pin from the joint pin in the rear brake
pedal joint and remove the joint pin.
SPLIT PIN
Remove the master cylinder mounting bolts (2 nos) and
remove the master cylinder.
Spilled fluid can damage painted, plastic, or rubber parts.
Place a rag over these parts whenever the system is
serviced.

DISASSEMBLY
Remove the boot and circlip from the master cylinder body.
