Front Master Cylinder - Honda CB HORNET 160R 2015 Shop Manual

Check the brake disc warpage using a dial indicator.
SERVICE LIMIT:
Check the wheel bearings for excessive play, if the warpage
exceeds the service limit.
Replace the brake disc if the wheel bearings are normal.

FRONT MASTER CYLINDER

REMOVAL
Remove the right rear view mirror with rear view mirror
adapter (page 12-4).
Disconnect the brake light switch connectors (page 17-12).
Drain the brake fluid from the hydraulic system (page 14-3).
Remove the brake hose by removing the oil bolt and
sealing washers.
Remove the bolts, holder and master cylinder assembly.
DISASSEMBLY
Remove the brake lever pivot nut, pivot bolt and brake lever.
0.10 mm (0.004 in)
