GENERAL
Manual front drive hubs are standard equipment on
Jeep vehicles equipped with a Model 208 or 300 part-time
four-wheel drive transfer case only.
NOTE: Front drive hubs are not available nor recom
mended on Jeep vehicles equipped with the Model 219,

Quadra-Trac, full-time four-wheel drive transfer case.
Two different front drive hub models are used. Hub
model M243 is used on CJ and Scrambler models (fig.
2F-77) and hub model 247 is used on Cherokee,
Wagoneer and Truck models (fig. 2F-78). Both hub
models are manually locked or unlocked.
