3. Make sure the axle nut is properly
torqued, and a new cotter pin is
installed.
Tightening torque:
Axle nut:
110Nm (11 m·kg,80ft-lb)
Axle pinch bolt:
6 Nm (0.6m ·kg, 4.3ft-lb)
WARNING:
Always use a new cotter pin on the rear
axle nut.
4. Adjust the rear brake. See page 155.
WARNING:
Check the operation of the brake light
after adjusting the rear brake.
