3. Coolant filling procedure
a. Check the drain bolt gaskets and O-ring
in the thermostatic valve cover for dam-
age. If damaged, replace as necessary.
b. Install the drain bolts with the gaskets
and torque the bolts to specification.
Tightening torque:
Drain bolt-cylinder:
7 Nm (0.7 m ·kg, 5.1 ft-lb)
Drain bolt-water pump cover:
10 Nm (1.0 m ·kg, 7.2 ft-lb)
c. Lightly apply grease to the O-ring and in-
stall the thermostatic valve cover.
