SYSTem:LICense:INSTall [{< folder >|< file >}]
SYSTem:LICense:INSTall? "< option_name >"
Installs all licenses from a specified file or from all license files in the specified folder.
If the security option is installed, you must unsecure the instrument with the security
code (calibration password) to execute this command.
Parameter
<folder> may be any valid folder name. Default:
root directory of a front panel USB storage device.
< file > may be any valid license file name
"LAN" or "SEC" (34460A)
"SEC" (34461A)
"DIG", "MEM", or "SEC" (34465A/70A)
Install licenses from license files in the \Licenses folder on a front panel USB storage device:
SYST:LIC:INST "USB:\Licenses"
Install licenses from the file "MyLicenses.lic" in the \Licenses folder on a front panel USB storage device:
SYST:LIC:INST "USB:\Licenses\MyLicenses.lic"
Return the status of the license "LAN":
SYST:LIC:INST? "LAN"
Typical Response: 0
License files must have a ".lic" file extension.

The format for < file > is "[< drive >:< path >]< file_name >", where < drive > can be INTernal or USB, and
l
< path > must be an absolute folder path.
INTernal specifies the internal flash file system. USB specifies a front panel USB storage device.

If < drive >:< path > is omitted, the folder specified by
l
Absolute paths begin with "\" or "/" and start at the root folder of < drive >.
l
Folder and file names cannot contain the following characters: \ / : * ? " < > |
l
The combination of folder and file name cannot exceed 240 characters.
l
The specified folder must exist and cannot be marked as hidden or system.
l
The format for < folder > is "[[< drive >:]< path >]", where < drive > can be INTernal or USB, and < path > is

a folder path.
