IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
When it is possible to operate the steering
wheel, the vehicle can be towed with all
wheels on the ground.
However, the power steering will not be
able to provide any power assist when the
engine cannot be started.
If the transmission is damaged, disconnect
the propeller shaft at the rear axle flange
and secure it to the frame.
If the rear axle fails or rear axle failure
is suspected, remove the axle shaft and
plug up the opening of the hub to prevent
differential gear oil from leaking, or to
prevent dirt or foreign objects from entering
the axle.
