CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS
CAUTION
Driving in 4WD mode on dry, well-paved roads can accelerate wearing of the
front tyres and reduce fuel efficiency. As this action can also increase vehicle
noise levels and lead to drive system damage, 2WD should always be used
under these driving conditions.
Whenever driving in 4WD mode, confirm that the knobs on the freewheel hubs
are set to the "LOCK" position.
Do not press the 4WD switch when driving with the knobs on the freewheel
hubs in the "FREE" position. Doing so could cause the transfer case to fail.
