NOTE
Make a habit of filling up the fuel tank well before it approaches empty.
After filling up the fuel tank, it takes a while for the fuel gauge needle to stabilize
after the starter switch is turned to the "ON" position.
If the fuel tank is filled while the engine is off but the starter switch is in the "ON"
position, the fuel gauge needle takes a while to show the correct reading. If so,
turn the starter switch to the "LOCK" or "ACC" position and then to the "ON"
position again.

Fuel Gauge
With the starter switch in the "ON" position,
this gauge indicates the quantity of fuel
remaining in the fuel tank. "F" means the
tank is full while "E" means the tank is
almost empty.
Low Fuel Warning Light
When your vehicle is running out of fuel,
the low fuel warning light comes on (a
model without a multi-information display
(MID)) or the warning is displayed (a model
with a MID).
If your vehicle has run out of fuel,
air bleeding procedure must be
performed.
