Changing the Oil
Level check

1. Place a container under the drain plug
to receive oil.
ADVICE
Use the oil quantities indicated
below only as guidelines when
changing the front axle differential
oil. After changing the oil, ensure
that its level is as required.
Drained oil must be disposed of in a
method conforming to the regulatory
requirements in your country.
2. Remove the plugs indicated in the
figure to discharge the oil into the
container.
3. After installing the drain plug by
tightening it to the specified torque,
refill the front axle differential with new
oil through the oil level plug hole up to
the lower edge of the hole.
Plug tightening torque
84 N·m (8.6 kgf·m/62 lb·ft)
ADVICE
Any dirt on the plug should be wiped
off before installing it.
4. After refilling, confirm that the oil level
is up to the lower edge of the oil level
plug hole.
5. Install the oil level plug by tightening it
to the specified torque.
Plug tightening torque
84 N·m (8.6 kgf·m/62 lb·ft)
