When are the Seat Belt with Pretensioner and SRS Airbag System Not
Likely to Be Activated?
In the following cases, the seat belt with pretensioner and SRS airbag system are less
likely to be activated even if they are working properly.
When the vehicle collides against a
utility pole or standing tree
When the vehicle has an offset
collision (one-sided collision)
