Changing the AMT Clutch Oil
Change the AMT clutch oil according to the Maintenance Schedule.
ADVICE
After changing the AMT clutch oil, check that the oil level is correct by following
the instructions in the preceding "Checking the Oil Level" section.
Drained oil must be disposed of in a method conforming to the regulatory
requirements in your country.

1. Place a container beneath the drain
plug.
2. Tilt the cab.
3. Pull out the dipstick.
4. Remove the drain plug to discharge
the oil into the container.
NOTE
AMT clutch oil cannot be completely
drained because a certain amount
remains in the fluid coupling and
hydraulic circuits.
5. Install the drain plug by tightening it to
the specified torque.
Drain plug tightening torque
29 - 49 N·m (3.0 - 5.0 kgf·m/22 - 36 lb·ft)
6. Fill the clutch with new oil through the
dipstick guide tube.
7. Check the oil level according to the
"Checking the Oil Level" section.
