Intake Manifold Removal and Installation (cont'd)
5. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV)
hose.
6. Remove the engine w i r e harness connectors and
w i r e harness clamps f r o m the intake m a n i f o l d .
• Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector
• Throttle actuator connector
• Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor
connector
• Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge
valve connector
• Intake m a n i f o l d t u n i n g (IMT) actuator connector
7. Remove the upper cover m o u n t i n g bolts and nuts
sequentially in t w o or three steps, then remove the
upper cover.

8. Remove the intake m a n i f o l d m o u n t i n g bolts and
nuts sequentially in t w o or three steps.

9. Remove the intake m a n i f o l d .
NOTE: Do not screw or unscrew the 6 m m bolts
securing the upper intake m a n i f o l d and lower
intake manifold.
