4. Measure wear and taper in direction X and Y at
three levels in each cylinder as s h o w n . If
measurements in any cylinder are beyond the
oversize bore service limit, replace the block. If the
block has to be rebored, refer to step 7 after
reboring.
Cylinder Bore Size
Standard (New): 86.000—86.015 mm
(3.3858-3.3864 in.)
Service Limit: 86.065 mm (3.3884 in.)
Oversize
0.25: 86.250-86.265 mm (3.3957-3.3963 in.)
0.50: 86.500-86.515 mm (3.4055-3.4061 in.)
Reboring Limit: 0.5 mm (0.02 in.)
Bore Taper
Limit: (Difference between first and third
measurement) 0.05 mm (0.002 in.)

5. Scored or scratched cylinder bores must be honed

Engine Block Warpage
