Installer Menu Options
attribute is set to "Yes" for an output, the control unit provides two more options for that
output:
Delay
The delay can take any value from 0 to 999 seconds. If set to 0 the output
operates immediately. When set to any other value the output waits for the
specified number of seconds before becoming active.
On Time
The On Time can take any value from 1 to 999 seconds. The output is
active for the specified number of seconds. (A value of 0 seconds is not
allowed.)
Note: This option is NOT available for output types which already have built-in pulse
behaviour: ATS test, PIR Set Latch, Shock/Smoke sensor reset, setting/unset
complete, user-defined and courtesy light.

Control Unit Plug-By Outputs

30 40 50 160
The plug-by outputs on the control unit are designed for use by standalone communicators
(see the relevant Installation Guide for connection details). You can give each output a
name, a type, and change its polarity. Programming plug-by outputs is the same as
programming wired outputs, but you must use the Outputs – Plug-by Outputs menu.
Each control unit type in the i-onEX range has a different number of plug by outputs
available, see page 9 for details.
See page 36 for a list of the default output types assigned to the plug-by outputs.
Notes:
1. The activity of the plug-by outputs is affected by the alarm response you select.
For example, if you select the alarm response "Siren" for Part Set B, then the control
units will not trigger the Plug-by-Outputs if there is an alarm when the system is in
part set B. To make the plug-by outputs operate you must select an alarm response
that has communications.
2. Plug-by outputs cannot take the type "User Defined".
Plug-by Outputs on EXP-PSU
30 50 160
The plug by outputs on the EXP-PSU mirror those on the control unit. You cannot program
the plug-by outputs on the EXP-PSU to behave independently from those on the control
unit.

Radio Outputs

To use a radio output on a 762r, 768r or 769r receiver you must teach the identity of the
control unit to the receiver.
Note: If you are teaching 762r, 768r, or 769r receivers then make sure that you disable IR
learn on the receivers first.
Once a receiver has learned an output from the control unit you must set up the output
behaviour at the control unit by giving the output a type. You can also give each output a
text name, and assign the output to one or more partitions. (By default radio outputs are
assigned to all partitions in a partitioned system.)

Output Types

You can select an output type quickly by keying the number shown in brackets after the
type's name, for example:"04" to select Open/Close, "02" to select Hold Up Alarm, "19" to
select General Fault. The number does not appear on the keypad display.
