i-on Range
where "e" is the expander number. The i-on40 control unit provides eight wired zones. The
KEY-KPZ01 provides one zone.
There are several options of resistor values for FSL: the keypad display shows the end of
line resistor/alarm contact resistor values for each option.
If you select any of the Panel - FSL options then the control unit provides 10 wired zones,
numbered 0 to 9. The i-on40 provides 16 wired zones. The KEY-KPZ01 provides two
zones.
If you select any of the System – FSL options then all wired expanders provide 10 wired
zones, number 0 to 9. (The i-on40 provides 16 wired zones. The KEY-KPZ01 provides two
zones.)
You can change the wiring type of each wired expander individually, see page 55
Note: Make sure that all zones are wired correctly for the selected wiring type.
See the relevant Installation Guide for wiring details.

User Access

To give users access to various system facilities select System Options – User Access.
Press the  or  keys to scroll up or down the list on the display. To allow access press
 repeatedly until "Yes" appears next to the selected option. To deny access press 
until "No" appears next to the selected option. Press  when you have finished.
HUA Keys Active
This option allows users to start an alarm from the keypads by pressing both the Hold Up
Alarm keys at the same time. This option applies to all keypads, both radio and wired, and
is not affected by allocating keypads to specific partitions.
Yes
The HUA keys on all keypads are functional.
No
The HUA keys are disabled.
Notes:
1. If HUA Confirmation has been enabled in System Options – Confirmation –
BS8243 then two separate HUA events are needed within the confirmation time in
order to start a HUA. See page 93 for HUA Confirmation Time.
2. To enable HUAs from a FOB-2W-4B or a 727r in UK control units you must first
set System Options - Confirmation Mode to Basic (see page 90). EUR control units
always use Basic Confirmation Mode.
A Master User must then set User Menu - System Config – Remotes – HUA
Function to "Enabled". (The menu option does NOT appear if Confirmation Mode is
DD243 or BS8243.)
Quick Set
Note: If you enable the quick set keys the control unit no longer complies with EN50131.
This option controls the operation of the A, B, C or D keys.
Yes
It is possible to set the alarm system by pressing A, B, C or D
without entering an access code.
No
The user must enter an access code (or present a tag) before
pressing the A, B, C or D keys.
Quick Omit
This option allows users to omit a zone that is active (has it's alarm contacts open) while
they are setting the system. The zone must have the Omittable attribute (see page 50).
