Line Fail Delay (For Plug-on or Built-in Module)

This menu controls the length of time that the control unit waits until starting an alert if the
communications line connected to either a plug-on or built-in communication module fails.
The values available are 0 to 60 seconds.
Note: The control unit may take a few seconds to recognise a line fail. The actual delay
between line fail and the resulting alert will be slightly longer than the value you
program within this option.

IP Network (Own)

40 50 160
This menu allows you to:
a) Give the control unit its own IP (Internet Protocol) address, used for the built in web
browser interface
b) Give any GPRS or Ethernet module their own IP numbers ready for use with IP Alarm
Reporting or IP Downloading.
Note that an Installer cannot set an alarm system using the web browser interface. A user
can log into the web browser interface to do this.
If there is no GPRS or Ethernet module present then the IP Network (Own) menu contains
the following options:
Web Server
This sub-menu controls the availability of the control unit's built-in
web browser interface. There are three lower options:
Status Set the Status to Enabled in order to make the web browser
interface available. Setting Status to Disabled halts the web
browser interface.
Port Number This is the port that the control unit uses for the web
browser interface. The format is a group of digits up to five digits
long. The default port is 80.
VKP Instant This option controls the availability of a standalone
virtual keypad, known as the Virtual Keypad Instant or VKP Instant.
When the option is set to Enabled, VKP Instant is enabled.
Provided the control unit is connect to a network through its
Ethernet port and the Web Server is enabled then anyone on the
network can connect to the control unit through the url: "http://[panel
IP:Port Number]/keypad.cgi".
Note that if the Port Number is left at the default of "80" then the url
is "http://[panel IP]/keypad.cgi".
For example:
1. If the control unit IP address is 198.162.0.100 and the port
number is 12344 then a user can type the url "http://
198.162.0.100:12344/keypad.cgi" into the address bar of their
browser, and the control unit will present a virtual keypad in the
browser window.
2. If the control unit IP address is 198.162.0.100 and the port
number is 80 then a user can type the url "http://
198.162.0.100/keypad.cgi" into the address bar of their browser,
and the control unit will present a virtual keypad in the browser
window.
Note: The browser must have cookies enabled for VKP Instant to
work correctly.
