Face the drawer shelf and grasp the handle at the bottom of the drawer
with your right hand.

Push up on the drawer latch with your thumb and pull the drawer out until
fully withdrawn. It is fully withdrawn when the drawer stop is at the top, to
prevent further travel.

Maintain a slight pull on the handle and lift the faceplate of the drawer
approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch).

While holding the drawer in this position, push the bottom of the drawer
nearest the shelf with your left hand, to a position about one 1 cm (.5 inch)
to the right.

Hold the drawer in this position with your left hand and lower the faceplate
of the drawer by releasing the grip of your right hand.

Ensure a card shroud and line card extractor are available.
Note 1: Card shrouds are required for inserting or removing cards in
line drawers. Two sizes are available for use with three-inch and/or
six-inch cards.
