Media Server MC (platform 6) before the upgrade, the type must be 8700 Media Server
MC (platform 6) after the upgrade.
Effective with CM 3.0, Internet Protocol (IP) PNC (FEAT_IP_PNC in the RFA license file) is
always to set to OFF. After you install, migrate to, or upgrade the server, then this attribute
should appear as n (no) in the display-only Internet Protocol (IP) PNC field on page 4 of
the Communication Manager Customer Options screen.

setting previously restricted MC (platform 6) platforms from using IP-PNC. The
ON setting previously restricted IP (platform 8) platforms from using MC-PNC
configurations. With release 3.0, both of these restrictions were lifted.
