Troubleshooting
AL026
The encoder is in error.
9
(Errors occur in the internal
data for three times
continuously)
AL027
The internal reset of the
encoder is in error.
AL028
Battery voltage is too high.
The internal of the encoder
is in error.
AL029
Absolute position is in error.
9-10
Unreliable internal data of the encoder
Causes
1. Check if the servo motor is properly
grounded.
2. Check if the encoder cable is
separated from the power supply or
high-current cable to avoid
interference.
3. Check if the shielding cables are
used in the wiring of the encoder.
The internal of the motor is in error
Causes
1. Check if the encoder communication
cable is properly connected.
2. Check if the power supply is stable.
3. Check if the operation temperature
exceeds 95°C.
Encoder voltage error or the internal of
the encoder is in error
Causes
1. Check if there is charging circuit in
the servo drive.
2. Check if the battery is correctly
installed. (Voltage > 3.8 V)
1. Check if it is absolute encoder.
2. Check if the servo motor is properly
grounded.
3. Check if the encoder cable is
separated from the power supply or
high-current cable to avoid
interference.
4. Check if the shielding cables are
used in the wiring of the encoder.

Corrective Actions
1. Please connect the UVW
connector (color green) to the
heat sink of the servo drive.
2. Please check if the encoder
cable is separated from the
power supply or the
high-current cable.
3. Please use cables with
shielding mesh.
4. If issue persists, please send
the drive back to the distributors
or contact with Delta.
Corrective Actions
1. Check if the encoder
communication cable is
normal.
2. Please use encoder
communication cable with
shielding mesh.
3. If issue persists, please send
the drive back to the
distributors or contact with
Delta.
Corrective Actions
Please do the check according to
the procedure of over voltage.
When corrective actions are done,
AL028 will be cleared
automatically.
1. If the situation is not improving,
please send the drive back to
the distributors or contact with
Delta.
2. Please connect the UVW
connector (color green) to the
heat sink of the servo drive.
3. Please check if the encoder
cable is separated from power
supply or high-current cable.
4. Please use shielding mesh. If
the situation is not improving,
please send the drive back to
the distributors or contact with
Delta.
Corrective Actions
If the alarm occurs again, please
change the encoder.
