SUMMARY OF MATCHJNG PROCEDURES
Connecting Rods
Shaft assembly
If the connecting rod and crankpin belong to the
same class (blue or red), the bearings will be of
the colour applied for this class.
• Red Con-Rod and Crankpin : red bearings.
• Blue Con-Rod and Crankpin: blue bearings.
If the connecting rod and crankpin belong to
classes Identified by different colours (blue and
red), a blue bearing and a red bearing must be
fitted.
If the crankshaft and cylinder block belong to
the same class
(blue
or red), bearings identified
by the co lour of this class must be fitted •
If the crankshaft and cylinder block belong to
classes identified by different colours (blue and
red), a blue bearing and a red bearing must be
fitted.
