REMOVING AND RE- FITIING
THE AIR- CONDITIONER

rtEMOVAL PROCEDURE
- Di sconnact battery.
- Remove instrument panel and supporting bracket.
Drain cooling system.
.. Loosen
both
collars holding the air-conditioner
water inlet and outlet hoses;
disconnect these
hoses.
- Remove
4
nuts fastening t
he
defrosting
nozzles
(Fig.
6).

-Remove 3 screws fastening air-conditioner
to
dash
panel:

side screws;
l screw in upper area on
car centra-line (Fig. 7).
- Rem ove side ventilator flexible suppiy
pipes.
- Clear
defrosting
nozzles from bolts
on
dash
panel
-Remove nozzles;
disconnect air-conditioner
wires.
- Clear
hamess
runn
i
ng
in fro
nt of
ai
r-condi ti
oner.
- Clear and remove
air-conditioner.
KE-FITTING OPERATIONS
-Locate
air-conditioner
in
position
on car.
- Fit
3
air-conditioner
setscrews in
position.
- Re-fit both defrostin
g
nozzles.
- Lock air-conditioner
and
nozzle
setscrews.
- Re-connect wires, re-fasten hamess in fro
nt
of
air-cond
itioner,
- Re-connect air-condition
er
water inlet
and ou
tlet
has es.
-
Fill
cooling system.
- Re-f! t instrument panel
and
bracket.
