- Remove gear box rear cover (Fig. 5), then remove
deflector \ilasher,
tachon~eter
screw,
reverse gear.
- Unlock input shaft bearing retaining plate on
upper half-housing, but do not remove It
(Fig. 6).

Unloc~ output shaft bearing retaining plate on
upper half-housing, but do not remove it
(Fig.
7).
Remove upper half-housing.
- Unlock both bearing ret~ining plates on lower
half-ho•Jsing, but do not remove thCl:l.
