- Pull on turbines to clear tht:rn from motor shaft.
- Remove turbines.
- Remo ve 3 screws retaining the sheet metal
r ein fa rc em en t (Fig . 9).
- Remove both motor shield ing half-housings,
cl earing th e silentblocs through the pl astic
cove r.
- Remove arma ture retaining clips ; recover me tal
washer and fibre washer.
- R emov e 4 nuts fastening the moto r half-h ous ings.

- Punc h m ark both half-housings, and separate th ED
(Fig. 10).
- Reraove armature.
- Remove brush-holder flange.

OPERATIONS
- Locate armature in brush-holder.
- Locate assembly in posi tlon in half-housing,
Fasten bolts.
Locate the other half-housing in position in
accordance with ref. marks punched at the
disoant l ing stage.
- Assem ble both motor ha lf- housings.
- A ssemble both oute r half-shells retai rted by the 3
si lentbl ocs.
- Re-f it sheet metal rei nforcemen t hel d by 3 screws.
