Manifolds
for 361

carburettor wells and different casting shapes:
-

361
engine:
a
single
well with a maximum
diameter
of
36.5,
with 2 side stud-bolts
designed
for fastening the single body
carburettor;
-on
341
engine:
two twin wells with a minimum
diameter of 39,7 separated by
a
screen with
a
central balancing 1.5 mm deep groove;
4
stud
bolts
for fastening
the dual body carburettor,

both
cases,
the inlet
man
ifold !s f
as
tened
to
the L.H.
side face of
t
he
cylinder head by
means
of 8
HM
7
x 1.00 nuts
and tapered
w ashers;
it
Is
sealed
to t
he
cylinder head
by
means of an
untearable paper
gasket,
which is common
to both
types.
A boss, which is
drilled
and t
apped
to
M 14 x
1.50
Is cast on theft rst cylinder
duct
to
receive
an
end-piece for the
servo-brake.
A
small
end-[Jiece
is
also
screwed, at
the centre, in a hole
which is tapped toM 10 x 1.00,
and
whic

opens up
in the carburettor central well to produce the
required vacuum
effect
at
low
r.p.m.
