REAR SUSPENSION
GENERAL
SPECIFICATIONS (Fig. 1)
The
rear·
suspension assembly
is
comprised of:
-
a
rigid axle (rear axle
assembly) articulated
to
the unrlerframe by means
of
2
lower longitudi nal
arm5 and
2
upper li,nk
rods
composing a
defonnable
parallelogram,
The articulations
for
the
2
longitudinal
arms and
2
link rods are
mounted
on
silentblocs,
on
the
one
hand
on t he
rear ax
1
e
and, on the other hand on the
under-
frame;

coil springs fi Hed between the lower
anns and
the underframe;
- 2
differential double-acbon telescopic shock-
absorbers
fastened, In their upper section, to
the underframe and, In the! r lower section, to
the differential housing;

thrust bearings coming Into
contact wl th the differential "trumpet" tubes
when bumping takes place;

cross-bar
fastened,
on the one hand, to the
rear axle, and, on the other hand, to a bracket
